Job Description


Job Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintenance work for company product (cranes) range
  • Supervise or perform service activities (refurbishment, upgrades, inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective actions) on company and equivalent equipment.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Stay up to date with relevant developments, routines, processes and news within Company major customers active in business area
  • Comply with all relevant safety and quality requirements
  • Follow all site safety rules, agreed working practices and environmental requirements
  • Recognize service and spares sales opportunities and communicate that to the relevant persons
  • Support sales activities such as follow-up on leads and quotes while at site
  • Make decisions about commercial matters within prescribed limits for each project, previously agreed with the Operations Manager or Superintendent.
  • To support Service overall goals and budgets.
Job Requirements
  • Technical education or college level in electrical background or similar relevant experience
  • Min. 5 years' experience with marine cranes or similar heavy equipment
  • Experience in the marine industry with other deck machinery experience would be a plus
  • Need to work irregular schedule with short notice at times
  • Sometimes need to travel or follow with vessel for job assignment
  • PLC knowledge (programming) is a plus
