Job Description

:
* Perform installation, testing, and maintenance of marine navigation, radar, and communication systems onboard vessels and at shipyards.
* Support commissioning activities for satellite and navigation systems to ensure accurate configuration and optimal performance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to NAVCOM and SATCOM systems, ensuring timely service restoration.
* Manage customer service requests, documentation, and records within CRM systems to maintain accurate service histories.
* Assist in infrastructure setup and maintenance for core network systems, including LAN/WAN and RF hub equipment.
* Coordinate with service partners, port authorities, and vessel crews to schedule service visits and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
* Support the Network Operations Centre (NOC) in monitoring ground stations, gateways, and customer systems, escalating incidents when required.
* Participate in equipment testing, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement projects to enhance system reliability and service efficiency.



Requirements
* Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Marine Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
* Additional OEM certifications (e.g., Furuno, JRC, Raytheon) or training in marine communication and navigation systems will be an advantage.
* 2-3 years of experience in the maritime, satellite communication, or telecommunications industry, with exposure to shipboard or shipyard environments.
* Strong technical background in marine navigation, radar, SATCOM, and control systems, with hands-on field service experience.
* Working knowledge of RF systems, satellite connectivity, and basic IP networking (routing, switching, IPv4/IPv6).
* Familiarity with service management tools (CRM) and port operations across Asia, especially Singapore.
* Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently in high-pressure and time-sensitive environments.
