The Animal Cell Technology group at Bioprocessing Technology Institute is dedicated to biologics R&D covering a wide spectrum of activities including vector design, cell line development, cell enginee The Animal Cell Technology group at Bioprocessing Technology Institute is dedicated to biologics R&D covering a wide spectrum of activities including vector design, cell line development, cell engineering, medium design and culture process development to enhance the production and quality of therapeutic proteins in mammalian cells. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who is interested in developing novel technologies for efficient therapeutic protein development and manufacturing. Specifically, the successful candidate will work on projects related to developing genetic tools for synthetic biology in mammalian cells, engineering mammalian cells for producing high efficacy therapeutic proteins, developing novel plasmid vectors for producing next generation biologics (e.g. bispecific antibodies), and developing mammalian cell display platform for accelerated antibody development and manufacturing. Responsibilities: Plan and execute experiments collect, analyse and report data Communicate scientific results to a variety of audience in written and oral formats Uphold highest quality and integrity of scientific work Meet project milestones effectively and efficiently Collaborate with multiple teams while responsibly completing tasks in hand Contribute constructive ideas and feedback in project discussions and administrative meetings Execute necessary duties for laboratory maintenance The above eligibility criteria are not exhaustive.
