It has a global vision that seeks to use genomic sciences to improve public health and public prosperity. Established in 2001 as a centre for genomic discovery, the GIS will pursue the integration of technology, genetics, and biology towards the goal of individualized medicine. Reporting to the Associate Director, you will assist to engage, foster, and maintain good relations with industry partners. In the process, you will be the driving force to establish initial engagements with the objective of achieving collaborations of joint research project or establishing joint laboratory. You will be the organizer and secretariat for the meetings and forums with potential industry partners. For the existing industry partners, you will oversee the scientific milestone & payment management and follow through the closure of the project. Your responsibilities will include the liaising with A.STAR Enterprise on the technology disclosures and Intellectual Property (IP) filing. You will be part of the GIS Confidentiality Compliance Committee to ensure compliance to the institutional policies on confidentiality & IP rights. In addition, you will provide support for the programme management. Requirements: Diploma holder Those with 2 years of relevant experience will be advantageous Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience in presentations Ability to work independently whilst being a strong team player Strong organisational, interpersonal, and planning abilities
