Proficiency in configuring and managing common Linux distributions (such as CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat).
Proficiency in Shell scripting; familiarity with programming languages such as Python and Perl is a plus.
Experience in storage system management, including NetApp, Ceph, and ZFS.
Experience with automation tools for system management and deployment (such as Ansible, PXE, Kickstart).
Familiarity with common system monitoring tools
Familiarity with resource scheduling software
Knowledge of networking and security concepts; relevant certifications (such as RHCE, CCNA) are a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Monitor system performance, promptly identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and potential issues.
Analyze system logs to identify the root cause of issues and develop and implement solutions.
Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to ensure data security and integrity.
Write and maintain system administration documentation and operational procedures.
Collaborate with development teams for application deployment and environment setup.
Participate in system architecture design and optimization, providing improvement recommendations.
Implement security measures to ensure the safety and security of systems and data.
