Position Overview: The Coca-Cola Company is transforming its approach and capabilities as it relates to Marketing data becoming more consumer centric - delivering data that will enable distinctive, competitively advantaged Marketing. Integrated data strategy, sourcing, management, and accessibility are at the heart of this transformation and TCCC is building dedicated global leadership and teams to ensure the provision of an end-to-end data platform across all markets. The ASEAN South Pacific (ASP) Operating Unit (OU) Marketing Data Senior Manager, as a part of the Global Platform Services Marketing Data team, will work closely with the ASP OU to develop our next generation data strategy and lead our OU and agency partners towards it. He/she will be on the pulse of industry-leading marketplace-wide shopper marketing data capabilities and lead crafting the most thought-leading, effective Shopper and Marketplace Performance Measurement solutions. This role will also support the creation of an operating system of operational effectiveness for Marketing data sets across the Marketing Data supplier landscape and establish products and routines to measure operational performance of suppliers with the objective to enable the network with productized services that drive data quality, stability, accuracy, and simplicity across our 9 Operating Units. This covers 2 core areas of data utilized by our teams and the interconnectivity between them:

  • Scan/Retail Audits partners and protocols (RMS/Scan Data)
  • In Home Panel partners and protocols (e.g. GfK, Kantar, Nielsen)

What You Will Do for Us: RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT, VALUE DELIVERY, AND INNOVATION
  • Lead the relationship with current data suppliers, partnering with Operating Unit functions in Marketing, Franchise, Strategy, Planning, and the Global Platform Services teams, ensuring service delivery and data quality for optimal value delivery across ASP
  • Lead the innovation roadmap with these suppliers to address the main pain points of coverage, speed of insights, and data granularity
  • Be a partner to the Marketing Services Analytics team, Digital Services teams, OU Human & Commercial Insights teams, OU Strategy and Category partners
  • Lead the data simplification workstream for ASP to simplify Data, Reporting, and Account Servicing by implementing new ways of working with key partners
  • Build new value-based partnership models for the future to maximize external marketplace understanding and cutting-edge solutions to drive growth
GLOBAL LIAISON & ALIGNMENT \xe2\x80\x93 PLATFORM SERVICES
  • Sync ASP OU with Global Team standards and ways of working, aligning data needs and roadmaps with strategic data partners
  • Triangulate multiple data sources across Shopper and Consumer to drive conversations and guide Operating Unit towards right interpretations and actions
  • Input into the shaping of protocols and diagnostics to deliver the best Marketplace Performance Measurement data landscape for the whole TCCC system, effectively promoting innovation, data scalability and standardization
TRAINING & ADOPTION
  • Train and/or manage the agency run training of ASP OU associates on datasets, access, independent analysis and interpretation
  • Support identification of new data sets and influence cross-system adoption of our transformation agenda
  • Have an outside-in POV, be a champion of change, and increase user adoption of new measurement systems to improve Data Quality and Market Share reporting
BUSINESS REPORTING/DATABASE MANAGEMENT
  • Hold partners accountable for data delivery, ingestion, cleaning, metric construction, data harmonization (GTC) and warehousing so that data is consistent, comparable, and accurate across our foundational shopper information base
  • Anticipate business needs and use defined processes and technology solutions to integrate, streamline, and harmonize data among our various providers
BUDGET + QUALITY CONTROL
  • Data Budget Management including Budget/Subscription/PO/SOW/RE management. Working with the OU Leadership, Procurement, and Finance team to ensure finance process adherence
  • Partner with OU and Platform Services teams to assess new data suppliers, build Data Quality processes, lead Data Coverage discussions, and embed them in operational routines with the Operating Unit (i.e. sample design, universe update)
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree required; MBA or Advanced Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience. The required focus is on the relevance of the recent work that pertains to this role. Needs to have experience working across teams and geographies in a complex, global environment leading or leveraging teams of internal and external resources.
  • Experience in a global role preferred. Ideally needs to have worked in roles that have developed both strategic and operations capability
  • Enjoy the challenge of driving adoption for new solutions/services and leading change throughout the organization by influencing global end users and stakeholders
  • Must understand full data ecosystem and life cycle. How to acquire, store, organize, manage data.
  • Must understand how to integrate multiple platforms so data from disparate systems is more easily accessible
  • Marketing & consumer/shopper knowledge & experience using marketing data to solve business problems and developing marketing data driven stories and recommendations will be a strong advantage
  • Industry-leading partnership Management: The ability to evaluate and ensure that vendor performance meets or exceeds defined performance standards and adheres to overall company policies and procedures
  • Network/Resources: Ability to develop diverse network/resources to leverage "best in class" knowledge, approaches, and processes
  • Ability to understand and communicate the larger picture, tell data driven stories to a variety of seniority levels. Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and handle conflicting priorities
  • Comfort in navigating white space and ability to drive clarity across various stakeholders in the Operating Units, Central Functions, and Platform Services.
