Identifying new sales leads and hunt for new prospect
Maintain relationships with existing customers and develop new revenue streams
Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner
Deliver financial results in line with agreed revenue target set in tandem with the commission scheme
Update sales tools on a timely manner, ensure date input of pipeline is accurate and realistic
Follow up sales lead and send sales leads to overseas
Able to propose solutions and prepare quotations for customers
High-volume of cold call to identify prospective customer to initiate and source for new clients
Contribute to saleforce system by providing timely and accurate sales activity tracking and status update along with predicable and precise sales forecasts
Co-ordinate with operations/pricing department and overseas branches/office on Air and Ocean consignment
Participate in the development and delivery of sales presentations if required
Participate on customer\'s annual RFQ
QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED)
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Extremely organized and detail oriented
Must possess a strong work ethic
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to negotiate rate, sell service and build professional relationships via telephone and email
Strong communication (both written and verbal), problem solving and decision making skills
Must possess strong knowledge and understanding of the freight forwarding business
Degree or Diploma in Logistics/ Supply Chain
Minimum 2 years\' experience in freight forwarding. Those without experience but with passion to sell and high self-motivation level are welcome to apply
Candidates from existing International Freight Sales background with existing accounts or customer will be highly considered
