We treat each other with care and respect and make time to give everyone a voiceRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Site Manager to support our on-site project team in delivering effective and efficient services for a large-scale construction project. This role is crucial in ensuring safety compliance and overseeing Health & Safety (HSE) systems on the project site.Key Responsibilities

• Site Inspections: Conduct daily walks around the project site to inspect safety protocols across all floors.
• Safety Monitoring: Record and report any safety infringements observed during site inspections.
• HSE Management: Manage Health & Safety Systems and assist the Construction Manager in implementing HSE procedures on-site.
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure all work methods comply with legal requirements, company standards, and the main contractor\xe2\x80\x99s scope and Method Statements (MS).
• Training Checks: Conduct checks to verify the training and competence of site staff and subcontractors.
• Reporting: Produce daily reports detailing HSE infringements floor by floor.
• Routine Inspections: Perform routine inspections and monitor all work activities to maintain safety standards.
• Risk Assessment Support: Assist in identifying significant factors affecting project design and contribute to design risk assessments.
• Team Management: Oversee the contractor\xe2\x80\x99s HSE team while remaining active on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years in a Construction Safety role, specifically within Singapore.
• Education: Strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations (DOSH, NEBOSH) and local HSE requirements.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit, as approximately 70% of the time will be spent walking the construction floors.
• Safety Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of working practices, risk assessments, Method Statements, and safety auditing.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Leadership Ability: Strong leadership skills to influence diverse groups to ensure HSE compliance.
• Resilience: Strong physical and mental constitution to thrive in a challenging work environment.
