And they’ve engineered it so Apple TV+ can be enjoyed not onlyon Apple devices, but also directly on many new televisions andthird-party streaming devices. To deliver Apple-level quality on aglobal scale, these engineers employ talent and tools to smoothlyingest and process a wide array of media assets. They workcross-functionally to handle video flow from content ingestion,playback, transcoding, and virtually everything else it takes tomake the experience as seamless as possible. • Support and maintain services bymeasuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall systemhealth.
• Develop, manage and support SRE tools andapplications.
• Engage in improving the whole lifecycleof services from inception through deployment, operations, andrefinement.
• Analyze logs and telemetry data bywriting monitoring and automation code
• Provide OnCall support to 1st levelproduction support teams
• Provide hands-on technical expertiseduring service impacting events.
• Collaborate with other engineers on codereviews, internal infrastructure improvements and processenhancements.
• PREFERRED
• Comfortable working with large-scaleserver deployments. Knowledge of additional programming languagesand platforms: Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, Cassandra, Hadoop. Strongability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies in a short time.We seek a self starter, visionary person with strong leadershipcapabilities. Extraordinary communication skills, for collaboratingacross many participating teams. You will interact with many othergroup’s internal team to lead and deliver best-in-class products inan exciting fast-paced environment.
