Senior Cell Leader (Special Process) Turbine Overhaul Services Responsibilities

  • Reporting to Senior Manager, Special Process Operations, successful candidate will Lead / Supervise Special Process Business unit in regular working hours.
  • Achieve the operational targets such as eTAT (Turnaround Time), OTD (On-Time Delivery), HPP (Hour Per Piece), productivity, utilization, reduce overtime, absentee control and skills matrix.
  • Execute Smart Factory implementation and drive transformation & enhancement in the cell.
  • Perform administrative duties of a Cell Leader (daily running of operations team, coordinate with the other cell leaders) to meet key performance metrics and goals in Quality, Safety, Compliance and Production.
  • Managing resources (manpower, equipment and capital) to meet operational needs
  • Demonstrate personal commitment to Environmental, Health and Safety by meeting and complying all legislation and regulations.
  • Be personally responsible for Ethics and Compliance in accordance with RTX Code of Ethics
  • Apply CORE (Continuous Improvement tools) in day-to-day operations and participate in improvement activities.
  • Provide effective communication across the cells, leadership development and performance feedback to the shop floor employees.
  • Review staffing and training needed including performance, salary, and career appraisal as well as hiring, retaining and developing new talent.
  • Standardize operational metrics, reporting and monitoring performance.
  • Participate in audits and inspections as and when required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Min 5-8 years' experience in production, operations or manufacturing with supervisory role.
  • Prefer candidates having demonstrated strong leadership and man management qualities. Understand basic aircraft engine repair processes and capabilities, knowledge on aircraft airworthiness and quality background will be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve business goals.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Process and detail oriented, including strong interpersonal and prioritization skills.
  • Lean manufacturing or repair experience with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Relevant experience in Aerospace, manufacturing or MRO is a plus.
