Your Role Accountabilities

In this role, we are looking for a Social & Digital Marketing Assistant Manager / Manager to support social and digital marketing strategy and campaigns to build brand affinity with core audiences across General Entertainment (GE) franchises such as DC (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, etc) and Wizarding World (Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts). This role will be responsible for Social & Digital marketing efforts under the Brand & Franchise team with Korea being a key focus market

Reporting to the regional GE Social and Digital Marketing Lead, you will work cross-functionally with internal teams to drive social and digital go-to-market activations, laddering up to our franchise and business goals. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for local content strategy, content development, publishing, community management, paid campaigns, influencer programs, reporting and overall project management for any local brand partnerships.

Franchise Social & Digital Marketing:

  • Support team lead in building out a digital strategy and always-on approach across owned channels supported by channel data, social listening, and research insights
  • Oversee day-to-day management of our social media channels across DC Korea and DC Asia guided by established target audience profiles and content strategy on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram to grow following and fan engagement.
  • Lead cross-functional team collaboration for key launches and implementation of campaigns across the franchise flywheel (Theatrical, Consumer Products, Comics, Games, OTT, Home Entertainment, etc) with both global and local teams
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure sufficient support is in place and deadlines are met.
  • Partner with media buying agencies and creative teams to deliver top-notch digital advertising campaigns that drive consumer awareness in support of full-funnel conversion.
  • Partner with research, franchise teams, and agencies to measure the effectiveness of our social/digital efforts and provide insights on how we are strengthening the emotional connection consumers have with our franchises.
As part of Social & Digital COE: As part of the Social & Digital Center of Excellence, work with rest of social team to:
  • Drive partnerships with local social & digital platforms as well as influencer agencies; and bring scale in negotiation across Franchise, Theatrical, Consumer Products, and other lines of businesses.
  • Facilitate cross-sharing of best practices and learnings on social & digital platforms between various lines of businesses.
  • Work with Research and Analytics to build locally relevant dashboards for social listening as well as tracking performance across our social & digital channels.
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of work experience in Brand, Social & Digital Marketing.
  • B-lingual in English and Korean; familiarity with the Korean digital landscape is a must.
  • Loves creative storytelling and has a passion for Warner Bros. Discovery\xe2\x80\x99s franchises and content.
  • Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of social publishing platforms eg: Hootsuite/Emplifi/Sprinklr and social listening tools strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; and the ability to manage stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Is a strong team player and highly collaborative with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Is able to work in fast-paced environments, under tight timelines and be able to support different brands/projects concurrently.
  • Is a forward-thinker who is curious, resourceful and willing to test and learn new things.
