Role Join our thriving and forward-thinking communications agency as a Senior Social Media Manager / Social Media Account Director, where you\'ll have the opportunity to work with one of the company\'s largest and most important clients, as well as a leading brand in the development of F&B, health and wellness, and home and personal care products. We are seeking a driven, organised and collaborative professional to join our social media team at Grayling. As an integral part of the team, you will not only establish strong relationships with colleagues and client teams, but also have the opportunity to lead and manage a team of talented social media professionals. With your finger on the pulse of the latest social media trends and innovations, you\'ll bring a proactive mindset, meticulous attention to detail and a can-do attitude. Your primary focus will be managing the global social media accounts for a world-leading technology brand renowned for its premium mobile phones and lifestyle products. Working closely with a creative studio team and your social media colleagues, you will deliver exceptional content, oversee community management, drive project management, and conduct data analysis and reporting. This role offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious candidate with a passion for social media to thrive in a fast-paced and exciting environment. Being a Mandarin speaker is essential.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies tailored to each client\'s unique brand identity and the demands of platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Create engaging and compelling organic content, including monthly content calendars, post ideas, and captivating copy. Your exceptional written skills will ensure error-free and typo-free content.
  • Utilize social media management tools for scheduling content, community management, and reporting, streamlining your workflow.
  • Utilize in-depth social analytics and insights, along with social listening tools, to inform strategy and optimize content performance.
  • Collaborate closely with PR teams and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging social media tools and techniques, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance our clients\' social media presence.
  • Apply commercial thinking and a strategic mindset to drive measurable results and maximize the impact of social media efforts.
  • Effectively manage relationships with suppliers and partners, such as video producers and designers, including the creation of briefs, budgets, and reports.
  • Deliver polished presentations that effectively communicate social media strategies, campaign performance, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to speak and read basic Mandarin Chinese is desired, enabling effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • 6-8 years\' hands-on experience working for a top digital/social media agency or brand, actively involved in the day-to-day operations and collaborating closely with the social media team.
  • Proven track record of building strong client relationships and achieving social media goals through active participation in the execution of campaigns.
  • Exceptional written skills, with close attention to detail and a knack for crafting engaging social media copy and content.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools for scheduling, community management, and reporting, actively engaging with the team in the day-to-day management of social media accounts.
  • In-depth understanding of social analytics, insights, and social listening tools, leveraging them to drive data-informed decisions and improvements.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with PR teams and key opinion leaders, actively participating in cross-functional efforts to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to drive results and meet client objectives, actively contributing to the team\'s strategic discussions and planning.
  • Experience managing relationships with suppliers and partners, including creating briefs, managing budgets, and providing reports, actively involved in the coordination and oversight of external resources.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey social media strategies and performance to clients and internal stakeholders, actively participating in the delivery of client presentations.
  • Basic Mandarin Chinese language skills preferred for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.
