East Coast Comedy is a young, highly energetic and growing comedy and events business. We run some of the most successful comedy nights in Singapore across multiple venues. You\'ll get the chance to work with and meet with the best and brightest comedians locally and internationally. We started with organising one comedy night in April and we\'re now managing twelve nights a month across the island and we want to scale and grow realistically and build the local standup comedy, improv and sketch scene here. We\'re looking to make our first hire and we\'re very excited to meet you.


We are looking to hire someone who can help us grow our social media presence on Instagram. Our needs are amorphous at this stage and we\'d craft the role around the strengths and desires of the right applicant. In terms of expectations:

• Help East Coast Comedy grow its Instagram and Facebook Following to realistic and mutually agreed milestones by constant posts and updates
• Suggest new and creative ways that ECC can achieve its goal working closely with the funniest people in Singapore
• Take simple smartphone pictures at some of our comedy nights to post on IG/FB stories
• Suggest creative new ways that ECC can increase customer and audience satisfaction at our comedy nights
• As ECC moves into the media space making creative content, to possibly work with the team in making, editing or creating short-form videos for youtube or tiktok

You\'d have reasonable control of your hours as there is no expectation to work from an office as long as you\'re responsible and get things done. There will be training in whatever areas you\'re unsure of and you will be resourced accordingly but this is very much a startup environment and you\'d need to be independent a fair bit. You\'d also need to be free at night to be there at our comedy nights which happen every other Monday at Blu Jaz and every Friday/Sat night at Crane Joo Chiat.
