Provide administrative support for the day-to-day running of the Social Work Department, including tracking referrals, preparation of reports, maintaining case files and administrative paperwork . Assist with data collection, tracking and updating of clients' information and other relevant data in the database . Assist with the assessment of simple financial cases and application of relevant financial schemes/ assistance for our Home's residents . Assist with Medifund submissions according to the criteria of Medifund applications . Professional & prompt handling of queries via phone calls and emails, including liaising with other insititutions' social workers to facilitate effective delivery of relevant services. Qualifications: - Minimum relevant diploma (a Diploma in Social Work or Social Services would be an advantage) - At least 3 years in the Community Care sector, preferably in a Nursing Home - Proficient in MS Office programs, especially in Word and Excel programs, including MOH (Ministry of Health) enterprise systems such as IRMS and NMTS Key Assets and Abilities: - A good team player with the ability to work well with minimum supervision - Fluent in spoken & written English, and the ability to converse in Mandarin/dialect would be an asset in communicating with dialect-speaking clients - Strong interpersonal skills with exceptional administrative expertise - Organised and meticulous with a keen eye for details (Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications).
