Collaborating with a multi-disciplined engineering team including field support, software, safety, autonomy, computer, mechanical and production engineers.
Learn about all aspects of our vehicle to support effective integration and troubleshooting of autonomous vehicle system components.
Collect and analyze autonomous vehicle system data to quickly improve system performance.
Developing and performing tests to validate subsystems through functional testing.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
Minimum of 3 years of work experience and / or project team experience in embedded /automotive / robotics / Autonomous vehicle or relevant fields
Experience in a Linux platform
Experience in embedded software development and toolchains
Strong proficiency in C and/or C++
Experience with Serialization methods (protobuf, flatbuffers, etc.)
Knowledge of modern C++ (c++14 and newer) and version control systems (e.g., git)
Working experience with Serial network (GMSL/CAN/LIN/Ethernet/TCP/UDP)
Comfortable with engineering mathematics and translating complex algorithms into code
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex issues relating to system design
Ability to work well in a team to achieve milestones and deliverables.
Nice-to-haves
Familiarity with ROS 2 / DDS a plus
Familiarity with automotive QA processes (ISO 26262)
Knowledge of LiDAR, Radar, and autonomous drive car system
Experience in test-in-loop development (SIL, HIL)
Familiarity with Python and NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, TensorFlow or similar.
