• Adecco is partnering with a multinational corporation Semiconductor company to search for a Software Engineer

The Opportunity

• Focus: Roaming, software troublshooting, system implementation testing and UAT
• Office location: Singapore, North-East
• Working hours: 5 days\' work (Monday-Friday) 40 hours work week
• This role will start off as contract position

The Talent

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science/Engineering or Related field of study.
• Experience in Manufacturing IT environment is advantage.

Minimum 1 years of experience in any of the following below:

• Developing applications to support manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and engineering analysis
• Good flair for software programming
• Database development and design with MS-SQL
• Windows programming in C#
• Scripting experience in Perl
• Markup languages: XML, HTML, XSL. Strong XML knowledge is preferred.
• Understanding of middleware and messaging concepts
• Machine Communication: SECS/GEM, Serial, OPC.
• End user GUI design
• Source code management best practices
• Agile methodologies

MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, human resources, manufacturing and marketing.
• Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs.
• Develops conversion and system implementation plans.
• Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.
• Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.
• Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.
