We are looking for a passionate and professional Software Specialist to join our Omni Channel Technology team to help us design and develop of enhancements and incident fixes on Singapore Pools' web, We are looking for a passionate and professional Software Specialist to join our Omni Channel Technology team to help us design and develop of enhancements and incident fixes on Singapore Pools' web, mobile applications and content management system (CMS) under our digital platform Based in Singapore and reporting into the Deputy Director, Omni-Channel Technology, the incumbent will be ensuring quality deliverables and within the agreed timeline, budget and within corporate policies and guidelines, as well as statutory/legal/regulatory requirements. However, we also recognize that each individual has a unique blend of skills. Whether your strength is in software development in mobile & web technology, we want to talk to you. What You'll Do You will design, develop, configure, deploy and maintain web and mobile applications for Projects/enhancements in accordance to specific requirements and best practices. You will support end user testing and support the QA in SIT, as needed You will provide 24/7 application on-call support when required You will work with our respective stakeholders to understand and resolve support issues as required You will be testing code for enhancements/bug fixes to ensure compliance quality assurance policy requirements and best practices You will be developing technical and user documentation for both internal and external distribution You will be reporting to appropriate stakeholders on the progress and status of the Projects/enhancements. Who You Are You will need a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or other IT-related disciplines You will need a minimum 3 years work experience in software development. You should have experienced with SDLC in an Agile environment You should have experience in developing and maintaining web applications, mobile applications and Content-Management Systems (CMS) (e.g. Drupal) You should have experience with development in Java, PHP, MySQL, Server-Side API. You should have experience with development using CSS, HTML5, JavaScript libraries/framework like jQuery, AJAX, ReactJS , You should have experience in developing and maintaining mobile application development for iOS and Android is a plus You should have experience in MobileFirst platform development and Apache Cordova is a plus. You should have experience in writing and executing comprehensive unit and system tests plans and test cases. You should have some knowledge of testing methodologies, standards and automated testing tools is an advantage You should have experience in DevOps is a plus. You should have experience in supporting production is a plus. You should be proficient with Source Control Tools like GIT, SVN or TFS or its variant. You should be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written mediums with internal and external stakeholders You should be able to work independently, as a strong self-started and collaborate with other teams You should have good team player and willing to learn new things.
