Adhere to regulations concerning health, safety and other compliance requirements in conjunction to managing brand standards, local government policies and procedures. Roles and Supporting Responsibilities . Responsible for ordering, receiving, inventory, organization and the sales of the wine . Oversee all wine purchases and cost management . Regularly develop and grow the wine program based on current trends, personal ideology and guest preferences together with the restaurant manager and chef . Create wine pairings with the food menus . Recommend appropriate wines to guests . Oversee the correct storage and service of wine to all guests . Training the floor team on available wines and the subsequent service . To work with the Operations manager to ensure that the profit margins are maintained and in line with the overall profit and loss statements for the wine program . To build excellent rapport with the guests . Be able to recognise our regular patrons and their needs and preferences Job Requirements . 2- 3 years of working experience in a similar role . WSET 3 certification or other similar certifications . Excellent customer service skills and friendly . Positive attitude and excellent communication skills . Well-organized and clean . Keen for opportunities to learn and grow within the organisation . Able to commit to shift work .
