Job Description


We are looking for a Sous Chef / Senior Sous Chef to head our Dusk Restaurant, with a Western and European-centric cuisine style.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Executive Chef on new food menu development and establish selling price
  • Works with Executive Sous Chef on the accuracy of inventory’s accuracy of all outlets on Faber Peaks
  • Supervise kitchen staff and run kitchen operation service. Ensure the highest standard of food quality is produced from all outlets on Faber Peak. Provide culinary guidance to the team when required. Scheduling of Kitchen staff's roster.
  • Order of ingredients for daily operations, and ensuring it is in line with SOP guidelines. Ensure goods received are of the desired quality and quantity required, and ensure proper storage of all raw materials once received.
  • Monitoring and controlling of food cost, as well as part-time and full-time kitchen labour cost. Monitor and minimise food wastage.
  • Ensure proper sanitation of all kitchens on Faber Peak
  • Solve problems and make decisions at managerial level
  • Stand in to help other kitchen section and outlets when required

Other Information
  • 6 day work week
  • At least 10 years' experience in a managerial role and 5 years' experience as a Sous Chef
