Job Description


  • Business Function

    Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

    Responsibilities
    As a deskside and systems support engineer, you will assist and attend to all end user desktop issues. This includes onsite troubleshooting of all end user issues pertaining to end user desktops. You will also collaborate and work closely with our engineering teams to continually improve our production services.
    Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily production jobs to ensure BOD system readiness and EOD tasks are completed successfully. This includes assigned daily systems health checks
  • Ensure all incident tickets and service requests assigned are promptly attended to and resolved
  • Provide quality and responsive helpdesk support to end users
  • Participate and support any activities that requires deskside support. E.g. Disaster Recovery exercise, BCP, etc)
  • Provide support to hosted 3rd party tools and applications
Requirements 1. Daily Operation
  • Perform data files integrity check.
  • Ensure BOD system readiness and EOD checklists are completed normally.

2. Helpdesk and System Support
  • Provide quick and responsive 1st level user support and problem escalation
  • Provide quick and responsive 1st level user support and work with hosted vendor till issue resolution

3. Deskside Support
  • Provide priority support to Trader’s trading terminal.
  • Provide onsite hardware troubleshooting and software support for focused Business User Groups
located at 3 sites (DAC, DAG & DAH) according to Incident and Service Requests
4. PC Deployment
  • Perform PC imaging, Software installation, PC setup and user profile configuration

5. Relocation
  • Provide support to workstation configuration and user verification after the relocation.

6. Administrative Duties
  • Ensure SOPs are updated.
  • Maintain and update End User Knowledge Management library.
