Job Description
:Responsibilities:
- Provide quality geriatric speech therapy services to elderly patients who are unable to communicate effectively
- Assess, diagnose and treat patients with deficiencies in the areas of swallowing, speech, voice and language fluency
- Participate in various community services initiatives of the Hospital, clinical education and research development in the area of speech therapy by the Rehabilitation Department
- Undertake administrative and supervisory responsibilities
- Responsible for caregiver training and follow-up
- Masters of Science in Speech Pathology or Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent
- Able to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of different medical disciplines
- At least 2 to 3 years relevant work experience in a hospital setting
- Good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
