We apply our passion for purposeful innovation to keep people safe and solve the world\'s most complex challenges.Committed to advancing global security and an ongoing commitment to improve our business functions, we are looking for an Sr. Accountant based in Jurong, East, Singapore, to compile & apply principles of accounting to analyst financial information, process & oversee the control of accounts and records ad work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.About you:Bachelor\'s degree in accountancy, or equivalent experience/combined education with additional training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks and at least 8 years of relevant experience, as well as relevant certifications i.e. ACCA or CPA.You will also have:

• Significant experience with current accounting and tax practices and demonstrated ability to interpret and apply accounting and tax regulations.
• Detailed knowledge and experience in reviewing employee expense reports, JV and Account Payable transactions and basic payroll experience.
• Demonstrated experience in, and ability to manage complex international programs utilizing multiple currencies, ledger systems and disclosure statements.
• Significant experience in multiple project analysis and management, financial analysis, financial reporting and forecasting, accounting, and budgeting.
• Demonstrated experience in applying revenue recognition principles.
• Computer literacy with an ability to analyze, interpret, and prepare complex reports and management information. Intermediate skills and experience in the use of MS Office and other relevant software packages and applications (i.e. SAP / accounting systems).
• Knowledge in FCPA and IFRS or US GAAP and government financial accounting are desirable.
• Basic European tax and audit experience is advantageous.

• Providing high level advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the company with respect to Accounting activities.
• Coordinating and performing a wide range of accounting activities and maintaining an effective internal control interface with external & internal audit agencies.
• Actively seek out and act on opportunities for continuous improvement by reviewing and analyzing complex processes to reduce cycle time, improve productivity and reduce overall costs.
• Liaising effectively with internal & external stakeholders and working effectively in cross functional teams to deliver results working with others in differing work cultures and timezones.
• Developing solutions to a variety of complex problems and providing & implementing effective approved solutions; and contributing to business improvement initiatives.
