JOB TITLE: SR. ACCOUNTANT, PRODUCT COSTING APAC

ORG UNIT NAME: CORPORATE FINANCE

LOCATION: SINGAPORE

JOB PURPOSE

The Sr Accountant Product Costing will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Controllership, EPM and GL Closing team to assure accurate and timely creation of auditable financial statements for multiple manufacturing sites and trading entities. Responsibilities also include preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations, oversight of monthly / quarterly cycle counting, annual standard cost update, collaboration with manufacturing on planning and execution of the annual physical inventory, implementation and maintenance of internal controls and both internal and external audit support. Additional responsibilities may also include monthly closing reporting and tolling reconciliation between Petrochemicals and SHPP entities, and also lead / participate assigned projects to drive process standardization and optimization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Period end closings for assigned sites
• Account reconciliation preparation
• Inventory analysis & reporting
• Tolling reconciliation between Petrochemicals and SHPP entities
• Internal & external audit support
• Collaboration with Manufacturing on planning and execution of the annual Physical Inventory
• Cycle Counting oversight
• Project participation
• Participation in annual standards update, and annual Txpx proposal
• Ad hoc analysis and response to business requests

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with 5 years\' relevant experience
