This position is a member of the global logistics team and participates in formulating global and regional logistics strategy. Success in this position requires experience in deep and broad logistics knowledge, skill sets and practicing experience; as well as team management, managing multiple projects simultaneously, implementing and driving change, detail orientation, strong analytical skills, market industry knowledge, customer focus and sound judgment. The person in this position must have strong team leadership, facilitation and communication skills and an ability to work in a matrix organization and under constanttight /compressed time lines environmentESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\xc2\xb7 Provide in region logistics leadership for all Jabil logistics and trade compliance operations,guidance and strategy
\xc2\xb7 Formulate logistics strategy in support of business unit and site requirements.
\xc2\xb7 Manage, coach and mentor regional logistics team and site logistics managers.
\xc2\xb7 Provide guidance and direction to carrier mangers in regional carrier selection and negotiations.
\xc2\xb7 Manage ; multi task and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
\xc2\xb7 Work in coordination with the other Regional Managers in formulating strategy and capabilities toprovide logistics support for cross regional operations.
\xc2\xb7 Develop and drive productivity initiatives for both in region and cross region operations.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure achieving and delivering regional logistics performances/KPIs
\xc2\xb7 Support customer sales initiatives and customer accounts.
\xc2\xb7 Lead dedicated customer logistics activity.
\xc2\xb7 Drive team productivity.
\xc2\xb7 May perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedJOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry (all transportation andinter-modal logistics modes as well as Contract /WH-Hubbing Logistics)\xc2\xb7 Carrier and 3PL management experience
\xc2\xb7 Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable companys business goals andobjectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
\xc2\xb7 Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determineoptimum company footprint.
\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of regional direct and indirect taxes as well as regional customs regimes.
\xc2\xb7 Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing andmanaging continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.

• Knowledge and experience in other key commercial/business elements; including general legal framework of business; contract of affreightment; commercial/INCO terms; regions

in - countries logistics bond zones and schemes, will be highly desirable

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize teams workload
• Strong and convincing communication & articulation skills.
• Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\xc2\xb7 Bachelors degree required, Post Graduate degree in SCM/Logistics will be preferable
\xc2\xb7 Plus 7 - 10 years of significant international and regional logistics experience.
\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated high performance orientation, strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, negotiating ability, sound judgment and communication skills.
\xc2\xb7 Strong Project management and leadership skills.
\xc2\xb7 Must be able to influence senior management through well formulated business presentations.
