This role is pivotal to design & build solutions/frameworks that help observe and recalibrate the clients experience as indicated by aberrations or XLA reports. The role will also focus on optimising infra design as we move across data-centres with the Zeus programme and will also influence build out of CoEs for critical product platforms.
The role will be having ownership and stake on Run outcomes will influence strongly the Build and Maintain outcomes by shifting left with NFR and building Observability, Scalability, Operability and Reliability patterns.
The role will be a key contributor to the PE Transformation across SRE, PIC and implementation of XLA.
The role will have excellent understanding of future proof technologies in block-chain, ChatGPT, AI/ML and will constantly help innovate to apply principles and solutions for uplifting PE insights and driving future ready tool base.
Essentials
Drive the implementation and be technical owner of the services we offer. Implement Digital Experience monitoring tools to provide detailed traceability of issues and enhance the end-user experience. The role requires software and hardware installations, specification, testing and service transition. The professional will have to identify the potential opportunities to optimise and bring efficiencies and engage with technology stakeholders.
Be responsible for design, development, and implementation of end-to-end monitoring
Solution as well as identifying gaps in existing monitoring solutions and recommend remedial actions
Lead requirements gathering workshops with internal stakeholders to provide technical guidance, and assist with capturing all necessary requirements necessary to design and implement solutions
Maintain a modern enterprise infrastructure introduced with the new monitoring solution in line with Architecture and enterprise goals and standards
Work with stakeholders to define correlation, visualizations, and SLOs
Be responsible for sprint demos internally, delivery of additional development artifacts and documentation, and training of internal users

The role must analyse existing systems to ensure that these systems provide the necessary security. These should meet the needs of the organization. Make certain, that overall system performance meets client expectations. The engineer must understand the business requirements to align infra design to new hardware, operating systems or messaging solutions.
Alternative Solutions and Improvements
Introduce alternative technologies to improve or enhance client information systems to support organizational goals. These requirements are then documented and communicated to enterprise senior management for clearance with central architecture.
Integrate New Infrastructure
They formulate detailed plans to add new systems to the existing core infrastructure. It includes logistic plans for conducting physical integration of hardware. Infrastructure Architects provide technical direction and support throughout this process.
Assess Projects
They evaluate the new system that has been integrated into the client infrastructure. This professional must keep track of the success of the project, identifying best practices for future implementation. Architects provide feedback to the enterprise and incorporate all gathered information into future integration plans.
Good technical knowledge and experience in implementing and operating ServiceNow ITOM and one or more of the DEM tools like Dynatrace, Splunk or Lakeside and cloud monitoring tools like Azure Monitor or Application Insights - however if you do not have several years of experience with the tools but understand observability and correlation concepts and have the passion and commitment we are looking for, we are very interested in hearing from you. We are looking for someone with technical aptitude and go-getter attitude.

Experience with gathering and organizing large amounts of data to use for instrumentation into an Enterprise monitoring solution

Familiarity with cloud environments in Azure, utilize IaaS, Pass, and SaaS Cloud Service model in Microsoft Azure.

Proactive and decisive team player who can work with minimal guidance
Ability to collaborate with various architecture teams i.e., Applications, Network, Database, Infrastructure, Security, etc.

Must handle anything related to web server and application server administration and web applications deployment experience. Having proper Web/application Tech experience is an added advantage.

Understanding and experience on core Java (Java 8 or higher), Core Spring Frameworks and experience in using design patterns.
Understanding and experience on ES6, HTML5, React, Redux, JavaScript MVC patterns / frameworks and CSS pre-processers and strategies for scalable CSS, Babel and Webpack.
Understanding and experience on developing cloud native microservices using frameworks such as Spring boot, Spring cloud.
Understanding and experience in working on Relation and non-Relation DBs (Progress, Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB).
Understanding and knowledge on Implementing automated testing platforms, unit tests, and CICD.
Understanding and knowledge on code versioning tools, such as Git, Bitbucket.
Understanding of container platform, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiar and working experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform.
An in depth understanding of Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud solutions and experienced in integrating public cloud into traditional hosting/delivery models with a specific focus on AWS.
Designing and updating Monitoring and Logging Framework which is enable for automated configuration and deployment.
Inspecting and adaption if changes are necessary.
Delivering and deploying Monitoring and Logging Software.
Participating cross functionally with vendors and other IT engineering teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Gathering and analysing monitoring requirements and NFR\'s.
System status representation via dashboards for customers and other teams.
Provide cost estimates and make a sizing recommendation for optimal cost-benefit ratio.
Design integration with third-party systems.
Conduct infrastructure reviews to propose optimization possibilities.
Support definition of infrastructure hardening measures.
Participate in task forces in case of high priority incidents by supporting root cause analysis.
Qualifications
10 years of experience and Degree in the Computer Science or equivalent.
Professional Certification on Cloud, Microservices, Container platform will be an added advantage.
