The Staff NPI Sourcing Manager is critical in shaping Illumina\'s supply chain, thus improving the efficiency of genetic sequencing technology overall to allow for mass scale adoption, maximizing the benefits of genetic information for all. This position will bring specialized skills and experience to resolve complex supply chain issues in creative and effective ways for assigned projects.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness partnership between strategic sourcing and product development for new product launch projects in consumables.Drive NPI project deliverables by collaborating with cross functional teams and influencing stakeholders.Lead RFx activities and make/buy analysis aligned with category and manufacturing strategies.Negotiates agreements (i.e., development agreement, statements of work, licensing agreement) achieving favorable terms that mitigate business risks and protect Illumina\xe2\x80\x99s IP while maintaining cost competitiveness.Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to develop capabilities, continuity, and capacity. Identify and reduce supply chain risks.Support the execution of continuous improvement initiatives within Global Supply Chain.Listed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position.
