Steel Structural Engineer ($3000 $3700/aws/vb)

Job Description
$3700 + AWS + VB + allowance
5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hours
Location: West
Responsibilities
- Undertake detailed technical and structural designs, prepare calculation reports and shop drawings, instruct drafters and check/amend fabrication drawings.
- Review and improve design considerations based on project requirements on competitive and economical approaches.
- Liaise and coordinate with operation teams, clients, consultants and/ or authorities on technical issues and to ensure design intents are met.
- Provide technical engineering advice to comply to Singapore design standards, codes, specifications and authorities regulations.
- Prepare reports as required by management
- Maintain proper inventory control
- Work with various teams to develop a statement of work.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
- NITEC /Degree /Diploma and above or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in structural steel design/ earth retaining stabilizing structures design or equivalent.
- Flexible and proactive attitude.
