Shangri-La Boracay
Located in the country's premier beach destination, Shangri-La Boracay is a luxurious and serene haven for vacationers. Dramatically situated on a hillside in a flourishing nature reserve at the northern tip of Boracay Island, the 12-hectare resort is a 10-minute drive from the popular White Beach. The resort offers 219 rooms including 36 villas and suites; comprehensive leisure facilities; 350 meters of secluded beachfront; and a thriving ecosystem of diverse flora and fauna. Within the resort, guests may find a tranquil escape in Chi, The Spa.
We are looking for a Steward Supervisor.
As a Steward Supervisor, we rely on you to:
Establish effective communication with Associates to gain their trust and respect through his/her hard work.
Assist any Associate in his/her job performance, when required, to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist in implementing an effective training program for new and current associates.
Exercise station rotation to ensure stations are distributed fairly. Handle daily Associate relations (i.e. scheduling, time adjustments, etc.)
During the shift, ensure that guests are satisfied by assisting with serving, seating, communicating with the kitchen and outlets, and striving to speak to all guests.
Prompt and courteous delivery of all orders, maintaining a positive image through all each guest contact and thorough cleanliness of guest areas.
Train, maintain, and enforce all Service Standards.
We are looking for someone who:
Minimum 2 years of work experience in hotel operations.
Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
Food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government.
Rich stewarding knowledge and management skills
