Main Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a passionate culinary professional to join our team as our Stewarding Supervisor.





As the Stewarding Supervisor, you will lead a team of stewards to maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of all kitchens and back-of-house areas. You will be responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and supporting the teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate stewarding staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations in kitchens, dishwashing areas, and equipment storage zones. Maintain the highest hygiene standards as per NEA and HACCP regulations and resort policies. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of dishwashing machines, waste management systems, and cleaning equipment. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, pantries, and storage rooms. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and tools; place requisitions in a timely manner. Support the Executive Steward in training and developing team members on cleaning protocols, chemical handling, and sustainability practices. Schedule shifts and delegate responsibilities to stewarding team members. Collaborate with culinary and service teams to support smooth kitchen operations during service and events. Drive eco-friendly and sustainable initiatives in waste reduction, recycling, and water conservation. Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations and participate in safety audits.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in stewarding or kitchen operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of kitchen sanitation standards and cleaning procedures. Ability to lead a team effectively and work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
