In Charge of all stores in Food Service Department:

Equipment Store
Stock Receiving
Coordinate all incoming supplier traffic and serve suppliers on a first-come-first-serve basis
Provides training and information to Operation team members on perishable product procedures (including quality checks, products extensions, etc)
Oversee the accurate and timely receiving of all perishable food products
Organize bin storage areas to maximize capacity, minimize product handling, and ensure product temperature requirements are met
Monitor the order selection process for all produce and frozen foods, and ensure orders are picked on time, accurately and with quality product
Partner with the Supplies Vendors to develop and maintain schedule for staging and delivering orders
Contact Senior Production Chef or Manager-in-Charge for instructions should there by any document or physical discrepancies
Reject items that are expired, damaged, wet, or short-fall in quantity (after confirmation from Store Supervisor or Chef-in-charge)
Control and track inventory scrap due to spoilage and unmet quality standards
Maintain accurate physical inventory counts on perishable foods
Full cycle inventory management of produce (receiving, product storage, order selection, and staging, and distribution). Responsible for daily inventory tracking, reviewing outgoing orders and invoices for Supplies vendors, and submitting verified orders to MMD or Finance for billing
Work closely with Senior Production Chef and Manager to review inventory counts and monthly picking schedules to accurately forecast perishable needs
Collaborates with Kitchen Section to ensure successful distribution of fresh food
Regulate the storage of all non-stock items at Temporary Storage Area
Ensure official hand-over of items to requesting departments with their acknowledgement on delivery orders (DOs)
Update all receiving and outgoing status in the stock-record file. File all receiving documents and carry out daily housekeeping of documents
Organise and work together with NHG Group and Chefs for the yearly tendering of raw materials, vegetables and food products
Take charge of the daily unloading of food supplies, chemicals and waste, ensuring that they are unloaded/ loaded at the correct parking lots in B2 followiing proper procedures
Management of store assistant including performance management, training and development, workflow planning, and interviewing/on-boarding
Stock Issuance
Regulate the storage of all stock items at various designated locations
Maintain the par stock level for all goods in accordance with First In First Out (FIFO) rule
Responsible for Monthly Stocktaking
Prepare for requesting department self\'s receiving at the store as per scheduled requirements or ad hoc Store Issue Voucher (SIVs) requests.
Arrange and stack all incoming goods according to HACCP guidelines
Ensure Halal and Non-Halal items are separated according to MUS guidelines
Work closely with MUIS Consultant to compile and ensure all food items are with proper Halal Certification and Halal logo
Issue food and non-food items to respective kitchens with approved requisition forms
Label all inventory for ease of stock retrieval or replenishment
Coordinate and provide daily and backup top-ups of dry rations to all wards as required within the hospital and ensure proper documentation of all dry ration top-up transactions
Ensure storerooms are always clean and securely locked at all times to prevent pilferage
Requirements
N / O Levels with at least 3 years of experience in F&B, or logistics industry
Competency in Microsoft Word & Excel
Ability to work efficiently and independently
Ability to work in teams
