The Team The Strategic Deals Team within Global Industries is an instrumental part of the organisation that is responsible for evolving our global strategic accounts and customer relationships to new levels across key industries and functions. The Job The Strategic Sales Advisor role will be part of a new, talented team of individuals who will drive global strategic sales deals and internal strategy initiatives to enable both Iron Mountain's customer and internal growth, this role will focus on the Banking vertical. Working cross-industry and cross-functionally, you will have the opportunity to align the full power of the IRM organisation to drive the highest levels of customer centricity that enables our customers to achieve their objectives. With a heavy organic growth orientation, this role will help grow and drive sales strategic accounts, which is dedicated to generating growth opportunities by collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to cross-sell new Iron Mountain technologies, products and solutions. An experienced player on A-teams, the Strategic Sales Advisor will help build lasting relationships with our customers to align their strategic focus with our IRM solution suite, enabling both the customers and IRM's growth. This role will operate in a collaborative global, matrix structure spanning across direct and indirect internal teams. Our goal is to ensure we are delivering an optimal customer experience across all functions including Account, Sales and Services teams, Operations, and Marketing. The Responsibilities In partnership with business leaders, identify and accelerate the strategy, project management, and operationalisation of key strategic accounts and initiatives across Iron Mountain Effectively build and maintain consensus, define success ruthlessly prioritise, day to day manage and work cross functionally across several teams and functions to deliver outcomes Effective storytelling via qualitative/quantitative research and interpreting and summarising/presenting results and implications Effectively running strategic ideation workshops with customers to identify pain points and develop appropriate solutions Providing intellectual leadership through business analyses to develop concrete solutions or recommendations or identifying gaps and inefficiencies Developing strong relationships with Iron Mountain's leaders, collaborating with them effectively and becoming a trusted thought partner on critical decisions/areas of their function What excites us... 8-12 years experience of consultative solution approaches, and technology focused-solution selling with in Banking Prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, strategy and ops teams and/or Solution Selling in the Information Technology Sector Relevant experience leading both strategy discussions and implementation of initiatives Exceptional analytical problem solving skills demonstrated by ability to work with both qualitative and quantitative research to form hypotheses and pressure-test findings Experience in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return On Investment (ROI) modeling Comfortable working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - ability to explain your findings and analysis to a non-technical audience Intellectually curious and enjoys learning; the ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment across a matrixed organisation and lead by influence Attention to detail and exceptional follow-through Bonus points for Good Understanding of the South East Asian market Understand how modern technology such as Cloud SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and ML / AI are being used in key sectors to advance digital transformation Proven ability to advance Sales through early stages. Experience with Solution selling/design - thinking to aid in further qualification, better positioning expectations, and value to solve customer's business and technical challenges will be helpful Fluent in English and the ability to speak mandarin would be a great advantage This is a great opportunity to join a team with clear growth plans for the future.
