Your Role and Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing Lead – Asia Pacific is responsible for identifying and recruiting the best talent into IBM. You will be part of a newly created scrum team working to support all business units across APJC (Asia Pacific, Japan, Greater China Group) market playing a critical role in the delivery to fill senior positions.

Along side the scrum team, you'll partner to aligned client groups, designing creative sourcing strategies to recruit top talent, and managing the hiring processes from initiating searches through offer acceptance. There is a strong emphasis on influencing and driving decisions by data.

In addition to recruitment delivery, you will work closely with your local Talent Acquisition (TA) colleagues, i.e. Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP), Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM), Regional Talent Acquisition Leader (RTAL) to support, drive and enable service transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Operationalise the strategy through the delivery of a proactive, innovative strategic sourcing service for APJC.
• Build and develop strong working partnerships with key stakeholders in addition to acting as escalation point of contact
• Lead scrum team and day to day team operations
• Monitor and maintain key metrics and KPI’s to develop actionable plans towards a continuous improvement of results
• Use various techniques, skills, and experience to identify, engage and hire the best talent for APJC demand
• Contribute to TA strategic roadmap and initiatives including tools adoption, diversity hiring programs, global projects
• Partner with sourcing offering leader to coach and build sourcing skill / capability outside of the scrum team taking the lead on up-skilling for Agile and Sourcing credentials There will be opportunities to work on global projects, collaborate and co-create with AgileTA members from around the world.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
The ideal candidate will possess:

• Solid regional recruitment experience (in direct sourcing experience or headhunting background), ideally across Asia Pacific, Japan and China
• Deep understanding of technology market and talent landscape.
• Independent, creative and with a strong sense of responsibility
• Excellent communication skills with strong competitive market awareness
• Ability to build a robust network of top talents by gaining market intelligence will be preferred
• Demonstrates the ability to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
• Good time-management skills with the ability to juggling various priorities at any given time and thinking creatively and practically across difference time zone

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience working in agile methodology is highly desirable.
• Regional people management experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Japanese / Korean / Chinese language (written and spoken) is preferred as the candidate will have to liaise with stakeholders from the the various regional countries
