The role with us

As a Procurement Specialist, you thrive on working with your team to provide procurement expertise to assist stakeholders to plan, develop, source and manage procurement arrangements to effectively meet organisational and business objectives.

This exciting opportunity is situated in Hong Kong.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

Using your domain knowledge to actively contribute to the delivery of short-term priorities and work with the team to embrace a culture of continuous improvement, contribute to establishing a sustainable framework of continuous integration, quality assurance monitoring and governance.

Support the development and implementation of procurement policies and processes to ensure a consistent and standardised approach and to drive improvements and efficiencies in Procurement activities and ensure a constant application of sourcing practices

Assist in the sourcing process as a Procurement subject matter expert in accordance with established policies and procedures to meet business needs and participate in negotiations to establish and review supply arrangements that maximise commercial procurement outcomes

Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and manage issues relating to Contract Deliverables ensuring effectiveness of suppliers and contract KPI\xe2\x80\x99s are achieved

Complete supplier agreements, including Statements of Work, extensions, variations, terminations and any other relevant mechanisms, accurately and in a timely manner.

Take accountability for the administration of procurement records and generate reports on procurement and contract activity to meet organisational compliance requirements, in line with established reporting cadence and data recording practices.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and qualifications:

At least 2-4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in procurement or any similar role within global procurement and supplier management experience in Telecommunications industry;

Proven understanding of Transmission/Transport & IP technologies, Local Access technology and its usage in SD-WAN implementation.

Experience in contract management managing telco suppliers and international contracts;

Exceptional negotiation skills;

Experience in supplier or vendor management and managing vendor performance including cost management/reduction strategies;

Stakeholder management skills with ability to confidently interact, communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across key business functions

Ability to manage competing priorities, work in a dynamic/fast paced environment with high level of autonomy. Experience in Agile Way Of Working is an added advantage.

Good communication and presentation skills

A degree in Business/Commerce/Engineering or other relevant degree is desirable

Legal background is an advantage.
