About the Role Cloud Engineering and Services (CES) powers the cloud technologies and infrastructure critical for DBS’ digital banking services and operations. This role resides in the COO team within CES. The incumbent covers the strategy and operations functions that will allow our technologists to succeed. The ideal candidate will be a planner and a doer with a background in business management, program management, or chief-of-staff functions. Please note that this is not a HR-role or office manager role. The ideal candidate has broad-based experience across various business enabler functions in a large organisation and connects well with stakeholders from all walks of life across various seniority. He/she has an action-bias and can invent workarounds when faced with obstacles. Key Accountabilities Strategy and Reporting

  • Drive the department’s strategy planning and alignment by conducting offsites/retreats and working with the department’s heads and senior managers.
  • Track and report on the department’s operational and strategic performance periodically in partnership with stakeholders from Technology and Operation’s strategy team.

Strategic Programs and Initiatives
  • Lead the department’s participation in the bank’s transformation programs and initiatives and participate in ad-hoc working groups.
  • Lead and organise department-wide programs and initiatives from the COO.

People Operations
  • Work with the bank’s HR and the department’s senior managers on staffing matters including headcount management and recruitment.
  • Manage employee journeys for onboarding and offboarding.
  • Manage the bank’s technology programme hires to cultivate a positive experience and a virtuous talent pipeline for the department.

Workplace Management
  • Champion the bank’s Future of Work program and initiatives for the department.
  • Manage the inventory in the department’s office space.
  • Create and sustain a positive hybrid work environment and experience for the department.
Requirements
  • 6 to 8 years’ of relevant experience in business management, project management, COO office, or chief-of-staff functions in a large organisation.
  • One who sees the big picture but does not miss the details; capable of appreciating the perspectives of various stakeholders.
  • Expert user of Office 365, especially with Excel.
  • Highly analytical with an ability to adopt a data-driven approach.
  • Thrives in a high-paced environment.
