Join our rapidly growing team to make an impact in the fintech space!About the Team:At Aspire, Finance plays a strategic role in driving our business forward. Our Finance team consists of a wide range of crucial functions across 4 verticals: (i) Traditional Finance with Accounting, Tax, Reporting, (ii) Treasury, which is a core function for a Fintech, (iii) Data including Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and Data Engineering and (iv) Strategy & Planning, which covers strategic road map, long term planning, fundraising and FP&A. Our Finance team engages in frequent strategic data analysis, research, and modeling to provide the best financial insights for critical business decisions, helping Aspire navigate the competitive landscape and capitalize on emerging opportunities. The team also plays a key part as the first user of our Aspire software, pioneer in Finance transformation, reengineering our internal process to stay agile while maintaining the internal control in a hyper fast growing environment.About the RoleThis Strategy & Planning Analyst will be part of the Finance team where you are tasked to help in the strategic planning and performance management of the Group. Additionally, you will interact with all areas of the company including Sales & Marketing, Product Development, Operations and Network. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the CEO, COO, CFO and other key executives. This will be a unique opportunity to learn key skills in entrepreneurship, market research, financial modeling and strategic planning.Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Support the planning and execution of the company\'s strategy by conducting market research, deep dives into product P&L and unit economics, and other analyses
  • Develop robust financial models and detailed sensitivity and scenario analysis
  • Continuous review of financial analysis methods, tools and costs drivers to provide effective analysis and help drive good business decisions
  • Collect data and build insightful information dashboards to interpret data across several functions
  • Develop an understanding of the existing business (including products/services, customers, competitors, the overall market and trends) through research and analysis of business units
  • Assist in preparing and improving management reporting to management and investors including running complex data analysis relating to financial forecasting, cohort analysis, product planning, market research etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in Big-4, corporate finance, fintech, FP&A or similar analytical roles
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong proficiency of financial statements and financial modeling knowledge
  • Have a passion for finance, tech and working in start-ups
  • Knowledge of the payments/banking industry
