Job Description

• Undertake detailed technical and structural designs, prepare calculation reports and shop drawings, instruct drafters and check/amend fabrication drawings
• Review and improve design considerations and assumptions based on project requirements on competitive and economical approaches
• Liaise and coordinate with operation teams, clients, consultants and/or authorities on technical issues and to ensure design intents are met
• Provide technical engineering advice to comply to Singapore design standards, codes, specifications and authorities\' regulations
• Propose value engineering, design improvement, optimization and innovation to improve operation efficiency and maximize construction profit
• Follow up with projects in charged closely, visit factory and site to provide technical advices and supports to operation team.
• Assist Technical Manager improve technical and design work effectiveness and efficiency.
• Other ad hoc job assigned by Technical Manager or the Company.

Job Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Civil and/ or Structural Engineering that is recognised by SSSS or the PE Board of Singapore.
• Preferably to have 3 to 8 years\' experience in structural steel design/ earth retaining stabilizing structures design or equivalent.
• Candidate to be informed that company core business specializes in the fields of ERSS Structural Steel works and Geotechnical works.
