ABOUT US:The Life Trail (TLT) is an Enrichment Platform for children (Age 5-16) in Singapore to provide one stop solution for all the enrichment needs. TLT provides access to a host of Enrichment Programs for Holistic Development of your Children by providing a Tailor-made learning experience for a child and helps their parents plan and track their progress with the assistance of a dedicated Mentor. Each student in TLT gets tagged with one mentor to handhold and support on the entire journey of learning.ABOUT THE ROLE:The Life Trail is looking for smart, hardworking & passionate team members to change the face of the enrichment industry in Singapore.We are looking for Mentors in our team for the students enrolled in our enrichment programs. Mentors should be experienced in counselling and coaching students to bring out the best of every child and create Super Achievers.Mentors will need to engage with each of the functional subject teachers on the platform (Academic and other programs) to learn and plan the child's progress.Mentors will also liaison with children and parents on a regular basis to:
- Chart out the learning journey and the plan
- Enhance the learning experience for the child to bring out the best out of every child.
This is a fast-paced role in an experienced team that loves to learn, improve and deliver high quality instruction at scale.Mentors should have prior experience in mentoring or counselling school going children.Key Requirements:
1. Solid education in Psychology, Education and other related fields. Must be adept in mentoring, coaching, and counselling.
2. Empathy and Effective listening and communication skills.
3. Innate motivation to mentor and coach students.
4. Customer and Student focused approach.
5. Talent to constantly look for ways to improve and become better.
6. Openness to collaborate with the learners, parents and other teachers.
7. Penchant for creativity and fills the classroom or any space with positivity and good vibes.
8. Analyse data in the platform, give real-time feedback, Research on ways of how to improve the child's progress.
