Completes hot meal preparation bygrilling, sauteing, roasting, frying, andbroiling ingredients and assembling andrefrigerating cold ingredients. Adheres to proper food handling,sanitation, and safety proceduresmaintains temperature and HazardAnalysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)logs as required and maintainsappropriate dating, labeling, androtation of all food items. Contributes to daily, holiday, and thememenus in collaboration with asupervisor. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation ofequipment, food storage, and workareas. Completes cleaning according to dailyand weekly schedules anddishwashing/pot washing. Listens to customer complaints andsuggestions and resolves complaints. Implements suggestions with the thinparameter of position and refer morecomplex concerns to the supervisor. Participates in and/or contributes toprograms, committees, or projectsdesigned to improve quality of serviceand employee productivity. Maintains clean work areas, utensils, andequipment. Develop new menu items whileimprovising the existing ones. Maintain and manage kitchen expenses,food costs, inventory, and staffing withinbudgetary limits. Able to cook north Indian food. Able to do shift work. Assisting with the preparation of foodand the serving of all meals tocustomers. Supervising a team to ensure that thekitchen and service areas are clean andtidy. Ensuring all food and health and safetyregulations are followed.
