ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Supply Chain Executive at PlasticBean, you will be a valuable member of the Global Supply Chain team, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager. In this role, you will be tasked with managing various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects and orders from beginning to end. Your responsibilities will include planning, overseeing, and executing projects while always taking into consideration both environmental and company factors.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Continuous Improvement
  • Drive supply chain optimization initiatives by collaborating with the Sales Team and Management to enhance the evaluation of rolling demand and capacity projections.
  • Develop cost-effective and value-adding solutions for the supply chain.
Managing Supplier Relationships
  • Conduct assessments of raw materials before procurement and ensure the verification of supplier quality.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure they provide high-quality products and services at competitive prices.
Managing Costs
  • Strategically plan through contract negotiation to achieve more favorable purchasing terms. In cases where a supplier fails to deliver goods properly, protect the company\'s interests.
  • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders and relevant documentation to cover procurement needs and downstream fulfillment of services (e.g., Delivery Orders, airway bills).
Meeting Customer Demands
  • Ensure timely procurement of required materials and goods.
  • Ensure that products and services are delivered to the customer on time and in the right quantity.
  • Handle customer complaints effectively. Customers will include internal and external stakeholders, and professionalism in handling these stakeholders is crucial.
Managing Logistics
  • Work with the internal logistics department to manage the transportation and distribution of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
Managing Risks
  • Identify and manage risks associated with the supply chain.
Reporting
  • Generate weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to meet operational requirements.
Process Improvement
  • Provide inputs, evaluate processes, and implement supply planning technology to drive success in this role.
Ad-hoc Requirements
  • Fulfill ad-hoc requirements as directed by your line manager.

YOUR ATTRIBUTES

  • 3 years of relevant experience in project management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team, while also being capable of working independently
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Offic
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Positive-minded and always approaches challenges with a can-do attitud
  • Agility to handle changes and requests in a way that benefits the company
  • Enjoys interacting with people and building relationships
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture and strategize methods to achieve company objectives
