Oversee and monitor the performance of third party logistics and ensure Service Level Agreements are adhered to.
Work with internal teams and external vendors and ensure stocks requested are accurately and timely delivered. Monitor logistics and delivery vendors regards collection, transfers and returns of stock items.
Arrange for regular stock take and provide reports on discrepancies on a monthly basis.
Calling and drafting of tenders on a regular basis.
Report on the SCM budget and provide monthly reports on logistics expenses versus budget.
Verify all payments to logistics vendors on a regular basis.
Regularly visit warehouse and observe the processes and feedback on improvements.
Monitor all slow moving and assist in disposal of approved condemnation items.
Is this you?
Diploma preferably in Supply Chain or similar discipline
Prior working experience in warehousing and shipping, process improvement, transport management
Familiar with logistics processes.
Good collaboration and team work
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Familiar with MS Excel and PowerPoint
Has knowledge on using SAP
Attention to detail and accuracy
Affinity for numbers
