Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Supports the Project Manager and Head of Supply Chain in managing the supply chain operations during Project execution (Food & Beverage industry)

• Joint responsibility along with Project Manager, to keep project expenses (procurement activities) within budget

• Analyzing the procurement market, performing benchmark studies

• Identification, evaluation, and selection of international suppliers

• Perform suppliers’ audit

• Conduct benchmarking studies for components, assemblies, machinery, and services

• Conduct negotiations independently within the scope of a defined decision-making authority

• Strategic procurement in coordination with departments

• Initiating, planning, and implementing cost saving projects

• Assist project teams by vetting documents (development contracts, confidentiality agreements, supply contracts) for risks and supply chain related matters

• Supporting and processing reclamations

• Ensuring the supply of parts within the area of responsibility, i.e. escalation management

• Forecasting, planning, scheduling, coordinating, and execution; ensuring timely availability of supplies & related services to sites while keeping related cost/expenses/deliveries optimized

• Responsible for assessing Supply Chain risks in projects and contingency planning

• Raise Bank Guarantees, and prepare shipping documents for LC as required by project

• Generate and analyze Project Cost vs budget reports

Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Shipping, industrial operations, or relevant field will be desirable

• Experience or/and knowledge on the following will be highly advantageous:

. Knowledge on Trade Finance, Letter of Credit (LC) . Coordinate transportation consolidation with suppliers and logistics agents . Basic understanding of industrial equipment

• Proficiency in MS Excel, a strong analytical mindset; problem solving skills

• Experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions

• Integrity; Strong people and communication skills

• Fresh diploma graduates (0-3) years’ experience may apply and relevant on-job training will be provided
