Supply Chain Manager Asia

The Opportunity
The Supply Chain Manager will be working alongside regional and global stakeholders. Reporting into the Product Supply Director APAC, this position is primarily responsible for all planning and operational activities associated with customers and products across Asia, with a particular focus on South Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia markets.

Planning

• Business Partnering and collaboration with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Production on S&OP Process, systems and cadence for the Asia region.
• Develop, evaluate, and refine forecasts (operational/statistical) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
• Lead Demand Replenishment Plan review meetings with sales, marketing and distributors to align on a long-term, 12-18 months rolling forecast that meets markets demands, inventory goals giving visibility on opportunities and risks versus financial targets.
• Collaborate with US Planning Team on short and long term Supply Risks by providing insights in Demand changes and providing potential mitigation plans.
• Track monthly performance of the business through Forecasting KPIs (Forecast Accuracy and Bias, SLOBs, identifying top misses, working with cross functional team on improvement plans.
• Develop tools to facilitate the monthly cycle, support the team on better visibility in terms of IMS, generated shipment and stocks.
• Deep dive into industry dynamics, trends of in market share (IMS/ consumption) and shipments by market to support in decision-making while being the expert of the numbers (Volumes/Value).

Operational Excellence

• Track monthly performance of the business through Service KPIs (OTIF, CFR, Quality Metrics, Order Turn-Around Time), identifying root cause analysis, developing/tracking improvement plans.
• Cross-Functional Business Partnering for operational efficiencies with Production Plants, Forwarders, Customer Service Teams.

Projects

• Evaluate brand mix and maintain healthy SKU portfolio through rationalization projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional New Product Development / New SKU Launch plan.
• New customer acquisition in Asia market and implement standard process for FCST/Order/Shipment.

The Skills you will bring to the team

• Experience in managing end to end Supply Chain, specifically in Planning and Operations preferably in FMCG/Consumer Goods/Pharma industries.
• Strategic thinking, ability to drive change, work and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Willing to work with small teams like a self-driven entrepreneur.
• Detail oriented but able to see the big picture, can handle volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity.
• Demonstrated proficiency in statistics and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts. Highly analytical and able to draw key conclusions from large sets of data.
• Knowledge of SAP, JDA / ERP or other software related to demand planning is preferred.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, challenging/influencing and presentation skills.
