Job Description


An experienced and reliable professional to oversee and manage inventory control and procedures while supervising the movement, distribution, and storage of goods (products) in the company. Work closely with 3rd party warehouse on inventory control

  • Responsible for coordinating import and export shipment operations matters. Ensuring all related transactions are updated
  • Follow up and validate shipment document and provide support on logistics queries
  • Responsible to check of inventory transactions and rectification of errors
  • Managing inventory data including data entry for inventory transfers and adjustments, costing and updating price in the system
  • Planning and coordination of monthly (i.e. Cycle Count if there is any) and year end stock take exercise
  • Prepare inventory reports, schedules and to compile stock take result in order to assist with year-end audit
  • Ensure timely submission of various inventory report to all the BU and closing of the inventory module on a monthly basis
  • Conduct investigation for unusual stock discrepancies
  • Co-ordinate with warehouse/ customers on orders and delivery/shipment schedule.
  • Analyze data to anticipate future needs
  • Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
  • Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
  • Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc
Ad-Hoc Duties
  • Supervising and assists on sales order processing
  • Handling monthly staff purchase orders and payment collection
  • Updating staff product allowance report for HR to IR8A filling
  • Prepare monthly credit note report for all BUs
  • Webshop
  • Order & Invoice Processing
  • Arrange delivery / shipment i.e. Liaise with forwarder and carries (i.e. Ninja Van) for delivery bookings and confirmation on customer orders.
  • Process packaging of items for delivery
  • Maintain proper records of invoices, delivery orders and any related documents.
  • Handle and assist customers on their enquiries via emails i.e. communicate delays etc
Requirements
  • Diploma or equivalent in Logistics and Operations
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in inventory / logistic industry
  • Able to work independently and meet tight reporting dateline
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
Other Information
  • 5 days\xe2\x80\x99 work week (9.00am to 6.00pm)
  • Office directly connected to Paya Lebar MRT (Paya Lebar Square Office Tower)
