What You Will Achieve

Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing mid-to long-term supply chain strategies and networks through a range of activities. Some of the activities that you will manage include addressing capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business growth and execution of new programs. Your team will rely on your management skills while forecasting and planning key events, and new product launches. Your breadth of experience will be leveraged for increasing effectiveness of supply chain initiatives through monitoring key performance indicators and coordinating cross-functional work teams.

As a Manager, your knowledge of internal or external business challenges will help us improve our products, processes and services. Your will guide us to lead projects by meeting objectives and preparing forecasts for resource requirements. Your risk-taking ability will help us advance new concepts and methodologies. You will provide technical guidance and oversight to team members and help in problem solving.

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible and accountable for leading a team of Supply Planners to ensure Supply Assurance for assigned clusters/markets. Act as a focal point for collecting market PCM (Product Change
Management) events update. Drive supply and inventory continuous improvement activities to support the attainment of commercial goals for the region and markets. Guide and coach assigned teams to fulfill their accountabilities. Aggregate market view across Supply Planners. Serve as a point of contact for Market Leaders for an assigned set of markets. Drive market-level Product Change Management (PCM) event reviews and discussions, validating market stakeholders\' input and working with supply planners for supply solutions. Through collaboration with key stakeholders, accountable for driving continuous improvements in supply chain processes, establishing / meeting performance objectives and operational changes

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guide and coach a team of Supply Planners to fulfill their responsibilities
  • Accountable for the performance of Supply Planners and their assigned portfolios including
  • but not limited to:
  • Supply assurance \xe2\x80\x93 monitor and track supply outlook including supply issues resolution
  • Inventory management and deployment
  • Product Change Management
  • Point of contact for Sites and Brand Supply Lead
  • Act as a point of contact for various stakeholders through participation in Plant S&OPs / associated forums
  • Driving the market level PCM associated meeting and collecting market requirements for
  • supply solution development and endorsement
  • Drive standard usage of tools and processes within teams in partnership with Enabling Team
  • Drive resolution of escalated or market-wide supply issues
  • Aggregate market view across Supply Planners and serve as a point of contact for Market Leaders for assigned portfolios.
  • Responsible for, but not limited to, an aggregate view of the following supply chain
  • processes: Demand profile, Supply issues, Resolution plans
  • Provide Market Leaders with the required level of information promptly
  • Working with supply planners, enabling team, markets, plants, and network supply to
  • evaluate performance and alignment of the Supply Chain design with the demand profile
  • Supporting and executing actions related to Network Supply initiatives
  • Participate in global forums with different stakeholders
  • Hub administration as assigned but not limited to Management of administration requirements such as facilities/budgets/resources

This position can manage 5 to 7 Supply Planning Executives / Senior Executives

EDUCATION
  • Bachelors / Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Supply Chain or Business
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and analytical skills
  • Lean or Lean Six Sigma qualified preferred
EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience required in Supply and Logistics management, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare industry
Language requirement
  • English
Technical skills:
Understanding of:
  • Pharmaceutical industry commercial dynamics, trends, and regulatory processes
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and end to end global product flows
  • Continuous improvement concepts
  • ERP System
  • Implementation of New business/distribution models
  • Logistics knowledge
  • Exposure to business finance
