  • Brainstorming an improvement project
  • Routine day to day tasks assigned by Supervisor. Routine tasks include but not limited to: Weekly tracking of idea performance, Weekly MRO stock count, Tracking of financial performance for the department, Safety BBS Gemba participation, Monthly upkeeping of metric board etc
  • Ad-hoc tasks assigned by Supervisor
  • Execution of improvement projects from start to end
Learning Outcomes:Students learn about:1) Basic information about the company\xe2\x80\x99s business2) Safety evacuation and safety procedures3) Training requirements pertaining to his/her role4) Use of Power BI as a visual board platform5) Fundamental knowledge on financial budgeting and tracking of financial performance6) Understanding of Safety BBS Gemba7) Understanding of importance of metric board and upkeeping of metric board8) Management of non routine/ad-hoc tasks9) Identification of an improvement project that potentially provides benefits in cost savings/safety/operational efficiency etc. to the organisation10) How to work in a potentially cross functional group to get alignment on execution of the projects11) How to manage projects end to end12) How to manage his/her workload by juggling between tasks and projects assigned13) How to nagivate through issues that arise during the execution of the projectsLocation Of Internship:Abbott Manufacturing Singapore, 26 Tuas South Avenue 10 Singapore 637437 (shuttle bus service provided from Jurong East/Boon Lay MRT to Tuas in the morning, and from Tuas to Jurong East MRT in the evening)Monthly Allowance: $800Application InstructionsPlease apply for this position by sending your resume by email to .
