We are seeking a Sustainability Client Solutions Director for our Sustainability Consulting Team

What this job involves: This is a unique opportunity to join the leading sustainability real estate experts as Director \xe2\x80\x93 Sustainability Client Solutions in a time where sustainability is impacting the value of real estate across the entire value chain and clients are seeking our help with their real estate sustainability strategy and implementation.

As Director \xe2\x80\x93 Sustainability Client Solutions you are a member of the Sustainability Consulting management team and part of the APAC Client Solutions team.

You will be leading the growth through business development activities in conjunction with the head of Sustainability Consulting and drive our internal and external sales. You will be a sustainability product specialist and involved in client relationship management where you will act as an accelerator and collaborator within our sales activities and processes. The role requires a passion for sustainability and gives sustainability professionals the opportunity to develop their careers as solutions consultants.

A snapshot of the role:

  • You grow businesses as networker, deal closer and expert in sustainability
  • You understand client pain points and are able to translate that into solutions
  • You lead the client solutions development for the consulting team working with investor and occupier clients
  • Stay abreast of sustainability priorities of our clients
  • Identify key target clients and drive co-creation of solutions together with the sustainability strategy and sustainable asset teams.
  • Identify opportunities with our investor and occupier clients to support them with sustainability solutions
  • Build pipeline of business development opportunities to reach sustainability consulting overall revenue targets
  • Lead engagement in liaising with external and internal stakeholders to understand their sustainability needs and drive the development of client specific solutions.
What this job involves
  • Manage and standardise client management initiatives to secure, strengthen, develop & enhance client relationships to build & improve enduring business relationships with a focus on regional priorities
  • Manage tracking of sales across sustainability services in India through the oversight of the sale system and by chairing the monthly market team calls, or equivalents.
  • Manage in-bound client requests for services across the Indian business lines to grow sales pipeline and successfully close significant contracts with regional priority
  • Support development and rollout a Sustainability product/services growth strategy by working closely with Product Management, brokers, and sales to identify key growth markets and opportunities and deploy & achieve to secure annual growth targets.
  • Interface & collaborate with sustainability service delivery teams (Strategies & Assets and Sustainable Operations) to identify and deliver product/ service solutions to meet repeat business and income targets.
  • Ensure differentiation of sustainability offering to attract and retain key clients, position the business favourably against industry competitors to drive strong brand awareness and a differentiated value proposition in the market
  • Support launch new products to market, and link with the global sustainability product team to support ongoing product development
  • Creating & updating dashboards that provide meaningful data for reviewing with key performance indicators.
  • Demonstrate understanding of emerging trends, themes, and reporting frameworks.
  • Understand and promote the organisations behavioural, moral, ethical and compliance standards & requirements, adhere to and demonstrate highest regard to these when interacting with customers, clients, and colleagues.

You will have significant experience with sustainability, and you have the gravitas and vision required for a role of this scale, presenting and engaging directly with both internal stakeholders and external Clients.

You can co-create solutions with clients and are a deal maker who is comfortable with a sales target.

You are collaborative with a team-oriented attitude as well as highly developed communication and organisational skills. You can translate complex matters into non-technical terms and tell the story to senior stakeholders that are not sustainability or real estate experts.

Strong client management and interpersonal skills for team and stakeholder management are critical for this role and you will also be competent in business writing and have strong financial acumen
