System Engineer
Job Description
The Systems Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end management, maintenance, and operational support of IT infrastructure in a data center environment. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of system operations through proactive monitoring, preventive maintenance, incident management, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The engineer will also provide standby support outside normal working hours and participate in Disaster Recovery exercises to maintain business continuity.
Requirements:
(i) ITE/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
(ii) 1 - 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure maintenance and support.
(iii) Proficient in
Windows/Linux server administration
, patch management, and system monitoring tools.(iv) Familiar with
DR/BCP processes
,Change Management
, andIncident Response frameworks
.(v) Good understanding of
network fundamentals, firewalls
, andcybersecurity controls
.(vi) Hands-on experience with
Trellix (McAfee)
,HIPS
, andNXLog
will be an advantage.(vii) Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
(viii) Ability to work independently and during non-business hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,400.00 per month
