Job Description

Job responsibilities:

• Installing and configuring servers / desktop PC/laptop systems.
• Identifying and troubleshooting and reporting network issues / server problems / internet circuits outage and VOIP phone system.
• Ensure user accessibility to network resources, applications and services.
• Provide technical support, consultation and training to department, sections and individual user.
• Manage, track and update IT asset inventory.
• Provide existing application systems and servers administration
• Conduct system installation, configuration and administration on Windows Server & Linux server operating system.
• Work closely with IT infrastructure team mate and IT Innovation team to perform backups, create test environments and application updates, apply program patches to company applications.
• Compile technical documentation and diagrams for IT projects / Servers / network for future reference.
• Monitoring CCTV system status and provide monthly report.
• Provide technical support and standby support for Automatic Storage Retrieval System (ASRS system) during and after office hours in a rotational basis. SCADA system administration training and troubleshooting methods will be provided.

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
• At least 3 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Working knowledge in operating system such as Microsoft Windows (Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019) & Ubuntu Linux Server
• Have basic concept and knowledge in MS Active Directory, backup solutions.
• Familiar with Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platform.
• Familiar with Linux Gateway, firewall appliances, windows domain controllers.
• Experienced with maintenance & monitor of CCTV system & wireless network devices (access points etc).
• Familiar in Data Backup Solutions (Veeam Backup & Veritas Backup).
• Obtain System/Network administration (MCSA/CCNA) certification will be an added advantage.
• Possess strong presentation and documentation skills
• Excellent team player and good interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to work/standby after office hours (evening, weekends or public holiday) for major installations or software/hardware upgrades to minimize service disruptions.
• Willing to travel to Jurong Island office for onsite support.
