Who We Need
The responsibilities are as stated below.
Monitor system performance and usage, including response times
Supervise backup, optimization, initiation of recovery procedure and routine troubleshooting.
Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure systems integrity and security.
Determine the systems\' short- and long-term requirements.
Provide technical advice to the team and client on installation, setup, configuration of systems.
Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend solutions/best practices.
Implement plan to make system available to users in a shared, secure and controlled manner.
Conduct new system testing and implementation.
Define the system maintenance procedures.
Analyse the use of new systems to identify enhancement needs.
Lead research initiatives for the development of advanced and automated approaches for system administration.
Conduct regular system audits and upgrades.
Develop automated processes to define, measure, and report on service quality, stability and capacity.
Investigate the cause of systems issues.
Provide monthly patching for Windows systems.
How to Succeed
Possesses a Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
L3 support for end user incident.
1 to 2 years (at least 5 years for Senior) experience in Data Center operations supporting Wintel System.
Experience and Familiar with latest virtualization (e.g VMware) and Windows technology (Eg: AD & GPO)
Experience in managing IT projects.
Obtained MCSE certification and certification in ITIL.
Has experience in vendor management.
