Your Role and Responsibilities

• Perform and/or lead OPC, System Automation, Netview and zSecure upgrades and patching on all mainframe lpars.
• Evaluate and implement new features/functions of OPC, System Automation, Netview and zSecure.
• Participate & coordination in disaster recovery mechanisms for Mainframe OPC, System Automation, Netview and zSecure subsystems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot OPC, System Automation, Netview and zSecure address spaces for any potential issues
• Provide Level 3 support to troubleshoot/resolve system level and application problems with OPC, System Automation, Netview and zSecure technologies and associated Mainframe interface to these products - coordinate escalation/intervention with vendor as necessary.
• Knowledge of SMP/E and can prepare for and apply maintenance to OPC, System Automation, Netview and zSecure subsystem. Maintain system documentation.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotation basis which at times require work outside of normal business hours to support critical tasks. Provide support to application team on technical questions.
• Participate in scheduled and critical activities (ie, monthly IPL , Annual DR tests, Failover Exercise, Storage Autoswap, etc).
• Performance tuning.
• Ability to work on project teams, delivering on key project milestones, and communicating effectively with a wide variety of people.
